Kinda like re-thrash in the early 2000's, bands playing old-school hard rock/metal are popping up all over the place these days. Don't get me wrong - I dig it and even my brothers in Coffin Crusher are doing it now and have my full support. But admittedly I'm one of those people who are wary of trends and tend to develop a prejudice against bands that I perceive to be jumping on board with the "next big thing" (even if we are talking "big" in terms of the underground).
