Slipknot recently announced that they are headlining their very own festival called Knotfest, which will take place over two days in Iowa and Wisconsin in August. Now, percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan explains what motivated the band to launch the festival and why they chose those two locations.

Well the wait's almost over and it's been far too long since since the last big rock show here in The Falls and we're proud to present BuzzFest tonight at the Kay Yeager Coliseum.
The secret is out. The three remaining covers on the Godsmack “Live and Inspired” c.d. have been revealed. The band will add covers from the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Metallica to their repertoire along with the previously released Joe Walsh and Zeppelin covers. More after the jump.
