Earlier this week, Blur made their triumphant return with The Magic Whip, their first album in more than a decade. And last night (April 30), the Britpop outfit celebrated by making their first U.S. television appearance in 15 years on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Damon Albarn-helmed crew delivered the new album’s jubilant “Ong Ong,” a fitting reintroduction to the band. The Magic Whip also marks the band’s first album with its original lineup since 1999’s 13, and the four-piece were all accounted for on the Fallon stage, along with a troupe of backup singers. Check out the performance in the video above.

Blur will follow up their Fallon gig with a free pop-up show tonight (May 1) in Brooklyn. However, it’s yet to be seen if the two appearances are indicative of an upcoming U.S. tour, as Albarn has previously questioned that possibility.

“I’d like to, but I’m not going to lose any sleep over it,” the singer said in a recent interview. “I’m up for doing a bit of touring, but there’s a great question mark when it comes to America with Blur for me.”
