Best Cymbal Fail Recovery Ever [VIDEO]

When I was in band back in high school, concerts usually went pretty smoothly. When you’re playing an instrument, however, things can go wrong. Reeds dry out, notes are hit wrong, guitar strings snap, and cymbals break. Well, they don’t usually break, but that’s what happened to this kid.

During the band’s playing of The Star Spangled Banner, he encountered an issue with his cymbal and had a couple of choices – he could be embarrassed and stand there awkwardly, or he could take action. This isn’t a fail, this is a win! (The action happens at just past 1:00)
