Another year is almost in the books. Let's take a look back at some cool stuff we did on The Buzz YouTube channel this year.

Bobaflex Joins Me in the Buzz Studio for an Acoustic Set of 'Spider in the Dark'

I may be a little biased making this my favorite video for this year, but seeing this five feet in front of me was awesome. In case you missed it, when Bobaflex was in Wichita Falls playing at the Iron Horse Pub, that afternoon they joined me in the Buzz studio and I got to hear two songs and we played a round of Wikipedia Fact or Fiction.

True Story of Witches Gate in the Abandoned Texoma Series

I could have put a lot of our Abandoned Texoma videos in the top ten, but I decided to settle on my favorite. Witches Gate, it's something we have all probably driven by a few times in our lives. We all have the same thought, what the hell is that? We got the full scoop on everything that happened to this structure back in the day.

Crappy Pickup Lines Only People From Wichita Falls Will Know

If you have never lived in Wichita Falls, I don't think you will get half of these. I would also like to recommend not using these in real life. I don't think they will get the girl to go home with you. "Red tacos and chill" is your best bet if you want to try.

Air Force Thunderbirds Amazing Aerobatics at Wichita Falls Air Show

This is one that I was unable to attend, but I am glad the camera was rolling. It's like I was there. It was an exciting day for Sheppard Air Force Base and I hope they do one of these next year as well.

September Mourning Join the Afternoon Buzz for a performance of 'Eye of the Storm'

Johnny Thrash had the pleasure of interviewing September Mourning back in September after they got done with Texas Mutiny. They didn't have a show in Wichita Falls, they were just passing through and stopped by. We love it when bands make a pitstop at The Buzz studio.

Huge Rats Running Out of Wichita Falls Home

Thanks to Wichita Falls resident Bill Maxwell for this next video. He shot video of his neighbor's house over off Southwest Parkway. It's pretty crazy watching these rats just pile in and out of this house. I will be double checking for holes in my roof when I get home tonight.

Lightning Strike Leaves Strange Design on Wichita Falls Golf Course

Nature can be beautiful and this is definitely one of those instances. Thankfully no one was on the green when this happened at the Champions Course at Weeks Park. The 16th hole will never look as cool as it did on this day back in May.

Drunk Driver Tries to Drive Through Flooded Bowie Road

Another shoutout to a Texoma resident for this video. This one comes to us Debbie Hoover over in Bowie. We had some good rain this year. With the drought we dealt with for years, no one is complaining about the rain. Remember, turn around, don't drown. The person in this vehicle was dumb on two accounts. Driving in a flood and driving while drunk.

Chuck Billy of Testament Calls Into The Oath

If you missed The Oath on Saturday nights, you're not alone. Don't worry the metal is still going strong on Saturday nights with Full Metal Jackie. Before Johnny Thrash handed the reigns over to her, he had the pleasure to interview the lead singer of Testament and see how that new album was coming along.

    The Ultimate Wichita Falls Tattoo

So someone pitched an idea to me. What do you think the ultimate Wichita Falls tattoo would look like? I could've written a boring blog of my insane idea, but I decided to bust out the camera and explain it to you. Plus, we can all remember when I had a playoff beard going for the Dallas Stars.
