Ben and Jerry’s Unveils Texas Ice Cream Flavors

What is going to be the official flavor of the Lonestar state? It has been narrowed down to two and you have an opportunity to try them.

Summer is coming up and nothing is more refreshing on a hot Texas day than some cold ice cream. Well if you're a true Texan, wouldn't you want the official ice cream flavor of Texas? The guys at Ben and Jerry's have it narrowed down to two flavors.

The first is Bar-B-Que Peach,  which is ancho peach ice cream with peaches & a bar-b-Que caramel swirl. For me personally bar-b-Que doesn't sound good with ice cream, but it's an essential part of Texas. They say don't knock anything until you try it.

The other is Bourbon Pecan Pie, it has buttery bourbon ice cream with pecans, shortbread cookie pieces & a whisky caramel swirl. I don't know about you, but this one sounds delicious. I would eat a gallon of this without even thinking twice. I hope this one wins for sure.

Now a truck is traveling around Texas so you can try the flavors. The truck is in Dallas from May 9th until June 6th, Houston from June 9th until July 4th, Austin July 8th until the 22nd and San Antonio from July 23rd until August 14th.
