She already crashed, might as well keep the party going.

Police in York Haven, Pennsylvania were attempting to arrest a woman after she fled from them. She was found sitting in front of a boat launch near the Susquehanna River. When officers attempted to go to the car, she gunned it into the river. She got about twenty feet out and officers tried to tell her to get out of the vehicle, but she ignored them.

She just sat there drinking her beer.

The officers called the fire department and they were able to use a boat to go 'rescue' the woman.

The woman was originally being pursued for running through a stop sign. She drove several blocks trying to elude police before driving into the river.

Police say when she was being rescued, she was going in and out of consciousness. Police have not released her identity at this time.
