‘Because I Got High’ Gets Remixed with a Positive Outlook

13 years ago, Afroman released his hit song "Because I Got High," which focused on all the negative things that happen when smoking marijuana. We've come a long way since then, so isn't it time for a remix?

The song, originally released in 2001, included lyrics such as "I was gonna go to class, but then I got high," but after all these years, Afroman's use of marijuana is for more than just getting high and skipping class.

As you'll see in the video, his use of legalized weed is having all kinds of benefits including easing his glaucoma and putting more money into the state's pockets.

By the way, marijuana is at various forms of legalization in 23 states and the District of Columbia now.
