Beavis and Butthead Named Most Popular Fictional Character in Texas

Nice to see one of my favorite shows from my childhood in the spotlight once again.

God I miss my 90's cartoon shows. Old school 'Simpsons', all of the classic Nick toons, but definitely near the top of the list for me is 'Beavis and Butthead'. This was honestly my first introduction to music videos as a kid. Two kids, just making fun of music videos. Also, with some cartoon shorts in between. If you have never seen the 'No Laughing' episode of 'Beavis and Butthead', it's hilarious. One of my favorite cartoon episodes of all time.

The fine folks at Playboy made a list of the best fictional characters in every state. Representing the Lone Star State will be 'Beavis and Butthead'. As a kid of the 90's, I give a resounding hell yeah. Some people were probably hoping for Hank Hill from 'King of the Hill'. Just remember, Mike Judge made both characters. So it was going to be a win-win either way.
