This guy was truly an amazing person. Going to children's hospitals dressed as Batman, giving them toys and helping them cope with being stuck at a hospital.

Growing up in Maryland, a lot my friends are sharing this story today. Maybe in Texoma, you have not heard about the guy that dresses up as Batman in my old home state. Lenny B. Robinson was know as the Baltimore Batman, Route 29 Batman and to the kids that saw him, just Batman. He drove a custom Lamborghini, similar looking to Christian Bale's in 'The Dark Knight'.

Lenny had the most legit Batman costume I have ever seen. Seriously, I think he must have stolen this out of Micheal Keaton's closet. He would go to local hospitals in the area, giving kids Batman toys just to make them feel special. Lenny was always asked why he did this and he would always give the same response, " I am just doing it for the kids."

Sad news to report that Lenny has passed away after an accident on the highway last night. According to reports, Robinson was having engine trouble and stopped “partially in the fast lane.” He was checking the engine when the Batmobile was struck by a Toyota Camry. The Batmobile then hit him. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed. The driver of the car, who wasn’t injured, declined to comment. Lenny speaking on behalf of everyone, you will be missed. I know you brought a lot of joy to the children in the Maryland/DC area.
