Ballsy Magician Tries to Sell Weed to Cop [VIDEO]

I realize there's a good chance this video isn't real but I'm gonna roll with it anyway.

In the above video, Magician Calen Morelli walks up to an officer - in uniform - and breaks out a sack and asks him if he wants to buy it. The cop then grabs his hand but the sack is nowhere to be found. Of course, he then gets pissed and immediately gives the dude a pat-down to no avail before finally letting him go

To me, the best part of the whole thing is trying to figure out how the magician pulls the trick off. Is the cop in on it? Did the guy use a fake thumb? There are a lot of theories on YouTube but obviously Morelli isn't talking.
