Harlan grew up in Philadelphia hanging out with bands such as Bon Jovi, Britny Fox and Cinderella get their start. “It was a very exciting time, everything was changing and the only thing that mattered was having a good time”.
Harlan set his sights on the decadence and self-indulgence of the big city, NYC.
After signing a record deal with Relative Records and later on Elektra Records he spent the majority of the 1980’s playing clubs in New York…. “Just watching the scene evolve from, a band in front of a dozen kids to the same band playing sold arenas and selling millions of records was just unbelievable”.
