Are You Freakin’ Kidding Me? Deep Fried Butter on a Stick at the Iowa State Fair [VIDEO]

I know that the fair is the place to try new things. Well at least new things deep fried and on sticks. You can find everything from guacamole, Coca Cola, cheese, pork chops, Snickers bars and so much more. That’s one of the greatest things about going to the fair. So have we finally hit the crown jewel of the industry? Or have we just gone too far? At the Iowa state fair, and I’m pretty sure they’re not the first ones to do this, they are now doing deep fried BUTTER on a stick. Dipped in a cinnamon batter and drizzled with, yup, more butter. But wait, I have some questions.

What happens when you fry butter? It melts. So you have a deep fried nothing on a stick? Basically, yes. It ends up being a hollow batter tube that’s just dripping with butter. Watch the video and decide for yourself.
