Masks have been around for centuries and have always added a different level of mystery, fun and attraction.  And since the stores are stocked with tons of masks in preparation for Mardi Gras, I thought it would be a good idea to get some masks and put our own HomeBrew Hunnie masquerade shoot together.  The Wellington Banquet and Conference Center was a perfect place for the shoot as it's level of elegance and updated venue make it a favorite place to book anything from weddings to corporate training.  I have to hand it to the event manager at the Wellington, Meghan Byram, as she keeps that place in great shape and super clean.  She also happens to have an awesome taste in music as well.  Though, not even she was prepared for what was to become of the women's restroom when all of the Hunnies started getting ready (Make-up, curling irons, etc. all over...).  Which is actually the main reason  you may notice that any bathroom photos were taken in the Men's restroom at the Wellington instead of the women's.

Gold Creations provided several stunning pieces of custom jewelry (creating custom jewelry is their specialty) for the Hunnies to wear and the dresses used in the mask photos can be found at DEB in the mall.  Skye's hair was done by Tressa Stoiloff of Mode Hair Utopia and Skye did her own make up.

Oh, and one more a fun treat!  I joined Jessica Wood of J Wood Photography behind the lens and we tag teamed this shoot.  So take the time now and meet your new HomeBrew Hunnie Skye Baker.
