The assault of U.S. Black Metal bands shows no sign of letting up any time soon and Woe are the latest band from the genre to garner my attention.

The band from Philadelphia's newest offering Withdrawal is available now on Candlelight Records and while Woe started out as a one-man band, the project has slowly evolved and the new album is more of a collaborative effort than anything else they've done before. Yeah, founding member Chris Grigg is still the main driving creative force but the input from other band members has paid off as Withdrawal is Woe's strongest offering to date.
