‘Anxiety and Depression Are a Big Driving Part of Woe’ – Chris Grigg of Woe Takes the Oath [AUDIO]
The assault of U.S. Black Metal bands shows no sign of letting up any time soon and Woe are the latest band from the genre to garner my attention.
The band from Philadelphia’s newest offering Withdrawal is available now on Candlelight Records and while Woe started out as a one-man band, the project has slowly evolved and the new album is more of a collaborative effort than anything else they’ve done before. Chris called the BuzzLine for the May 25 edition of The Oath and we talked about the new disc, anxiety and depression as inspiration and more. Listen to our conversation below.
