I think Bill Hicks is one of the greatest comedians of all time.  He gave his audience the unrelenting truth in a time when finding the humor in the Bush administration and Desert Storm was taboo.  It is a shame that he never found the following in the states that he found in the United Kingdom, it is a shame his last performance on David Letterman was cut before broadcast, and it is a shame he passed away in the early 90s at the age of 32.  I would have loved to hear Hicks' opinion on the last 20 years.  A BBC documentary on the life of Bill Hicks debuted to huge critical acclaim.  After limited screenings across the states over the next month, "American: The Bill Hicks Story" will be released on Blu Ray and DVD on June 7th.  If you've never experienced the genius of Bill Hicks, it is never too late.
