Alter Bridge Announces New Album and Tour

Alter Bridge has gone three years without releasing a new album which is understandable given that lead singer Myles Kennedy has been teaming up with Slash and guitarist Mark Tremonti has been dealing with his solo album as well as joining drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marchall on tour with their alternate band Creed. But all that's about to change on October 8, when Alter Bridge will release their fourth studio album Fortress.They band will also be kicking off a European tour in support of the album.

“When we started pre-production on this album, we pushed ourselves harder and further than we ever have previously in order to make the most out of every individual arrangement. We wanted this album to be our most unpredictable and exciting one yet. From the early feedback we have received, it looks like we have achieved what we set out to do," Tremonti said.

Before they head over seas to kick off their headlining world tour, Alter Bridge will be playing one show and one show only here in the states. The concert will be taking place October 4 at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida. It will be their only U.S. show of 2013 so if you just can't wait to see them, this is your only chance before the year ends. Tickets for this one show are now available at Ticketmaster.com.
