Alabama City Trying to Ban Mini Skirts and Short Shorts

I was going to argue against this, then I remembered, I probably don't want to see anyone from Alabama in short shorts.

A lot of stupid laws exist. Most of them were created years ago and a lot of people don't know the backstory behind them. You can add this to the list of stupid laws. It hasn't been approved yet, but I hope the females in the city are trying to fight this. The reason they're trying to get this law passed is to even out another proposed law.

The city is also trying to ban saggy pants on males. So I guess they're all for equality. Law for males and females. The city is Dadeville, Alabama. City Councilman Frank Goodman originally proposed a ban of sagging pants at a meeting last month.

"It is about respect," Goodman said. "Who is going to respect you if you don't respect yourself. The reason I brought this up is I think people deserve respect when they are in public. I think slacking is disrespectful. I think it gives our younger generation the wrong impression of what is cool."

In my opinion, their has to be a bigger problem in your city than this. Seriously, we're wasting tax payer dollars to make this a law? Come on Alabama.
