Adelitas Way Unveils ‘Dog on a Leash’

Adelitas Way is hard at work on a brand new album but luckily, we won't have to wait to hear the first single.

"Dog on a Leash" is the first song from the group's third studio album, which has not received a title or a specific release date yet.

Lead singer Rick DeJesus talked about his inspiration for the song, saying, "Dog on a Leash,' I know people out there feel like that. I know, whether it's at work, whether it's a guy in a relationship, whether it's a woman in a relationship, whether it's a son and their parents, everyone feels like they always have to answer to somebody to go do something they want to do. I mean, when you have to answer to people constantly, sometimes you feel like a dog on a leash, man. Sometimes you feel like you're chained to the wall, and you can't do anything unless someone unchains you"

The bands last album included the chart topping single "Sick" as well as a pair of top five singles "The Collapse" and "Criticize.
