If for some odd reason you have a trip planned to visit the Didihat region of India, you may want to cancel those plans. A killer leopard with a taste for human flesh has been ravaging the area.

The leopard has already killed and ate thirteen people, most of whom were just stumbling home after a night of drinking.

I know you're wondering 'why don't they just hunt this damn leopard down and kill it?' Well they've already tried that three times, each a bigger failure than the last. In the meantime the leopard hasn't ceased his quest to single-handedly devour the entire human race.

Obviously drunk people put up less of a fight, so the leopard, who is too smart for his own good, has been targeting them. Sounds more like a serial killer than a beast of the wild to me.

Forest rangers in the area can only offer one explanation as to why this particular leopard prefers human flesh, he's already eaten most of the dogs in the area.

So cancel those plans to India. This leopard has already avoided the rangers multiple times, so it's unlikely they'll be catching him anytime soon.

My personal theory goes like this. After the leopard's parents were killed off years ago he isolated himself in the wild, growing stronger each year until he was big enough to assemble the other leopards in the area and launch a series of coordinated attacks to bring his parents' killers to justice. It could happen.

Hopefully authorities in the region can get this situation under control, I doubt it's at the top of their priority list. What do thirteen people matter in a country of almost 2 billion people anyway?

Now I'm pretty sure the leopard in the video below isn't the one that has been eating all those drunk people, but it's a great example of how your typical leopard attack plays out in India.
