Maybe Back to the Future Part II wasn't that far off base after all. It's 2015 and the Cubs are one series win away from the world series and now we get news that a Canadian inventor has invented a hoverboard that actually flies.

Sure, the hoverboard Catalin Alexandru Duru invented is a little more like the Green Goblin's from Spiderman than Marty McFly's from Back To the Future Part II, but the fact of the matter is that the he was able to ride that sumbitch at an altitude of over sixteen feet for a distance of more than nine hundred feet and that's higher and further than anyone else has ever done, so hats off to Catalin.
