The music world has lost one of its most talented performers as Deftones bassist Chi Cheng sadly passed away Saturday (April 13) at the age of 42. Cheng had been in a coma following a serious auto accident in 2008 and had been in a semi-conscious state for periods ever since.
Last summer, there were rumors that Avril Lavigne and Marilyn Manson were dating. Those rumors were humorously thwarted by Manson and the world soon found out that it was Nickelback's Chad Kroeger and not Manson that the pop singer had her eyes on. However, there was something to that pairing with Manson -- something musical.
The numbers are in for the highest grossing touring acts of 2012, and there are a few surprises peppered into the list. What isn't surprising, however, is that Metallica were the biggest draw of any hard rock act in 2012, followed closely by bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nickelback.
